Thai National Interest (TNI)
The Editorial Board of Thai National Interest (TNI) hereby announces the implementation of revised Research Article Writing Guidelines, effective immediately.
This revision aims to strengthen the academic rigor, methodological clarity, and evaluative transparency of research articles submitted to the journal, in line with international standards and the assessment criteria of the Thai-Journal Citation Index (TCI).
🔹 Key Improvements
- Clear differentiation between Research Articles and Academic / Policy-Oriented Articles
- Explicit requirements for research questions, methodology, and original findings
- Standardized length for Research Articles (7,000–9,000 words or approximately 18–22 pages)
- Expanded guidelines on the use of equations, quantitative tables, and statistical graphics in accordance with APA 7
- Introduction of standardized Research Article Templates with illustrative examples
🔹 Purpose of the Revision
These revisions are intended to:
- Reduce ambiguity in manuscript classification
- Enhance the quality and consistency of peer review
- Improve transparency in editorial screening and decision-making
- Support the journal’s continuous development and quality advancement
Authors are required to consult the updated Research Author Guidelines and Research Article Template (APA 7) prior to submission. Manuscripts that do not meet the revised research standards may be desk-rejected or returned for revision.
