About the Journal
Thai Journal of National Interest
National Interest publishes research and academic articles in the fields of Geopolitics, Geo-economics, and Innovation Studies. The journal serves as a platform for disseminating academic and creative works of faculty members, researchers, educators, and students.
Its objective is to promote knowledge development in geopolitical and geo-economic studies and innovation at both national and international levels.
Publication Frequency
The journal publishes four (4) issues per year on a tri-monthly basis:
• Issue 1: August – October
• Issue 2: November – January
• Issue 3: February – April
• Issue 4: May – July
Publication Policy
Articles submitted to the National Interest may be written in either Thai or English and must align with the journal’s academic scope (Geopolitics, Geo-economics, Innovation, and related fields).
Manuscripts must not have been previously published elsewhere and must demonstrate academic rigor, relevance, and originality.Authors are responsible for the accuracy of references, data, figures, and formulas. The editorial board reserves the right to edit for clarity and format without altering academic content.
Articles that fail to meet revision requirements within 30 days following reviewer recommendations may be declined. Editorial decisions on publication are final.
Submission Requirements
To submit an article for consideration, authors must provide the following:
1. Full manuscript in Microsoft Word format (7–22 pages, A4).
2. Submission via the online system as provided on the journal website.
Formatting Guidelines:
• Page margins: 2.5 cm on all sides.
• Font: JasmineUPC, 16-point.
• Use decimal numbering (1., 1.1., 1.2., etc.) for sections and subsections.
Peer Review Process
1. All manuscripts undergo an initial screening by the editors within two (2) working days for scope and format compliance.
2. Manuscripts passing the initial review are sent for double-blind peer review by at least three (3) qualified experts (Thai and international).
3. Reviewers are selected based on relevant expertise and recent publications (within the last three years).
4. The review process normally takes no more than seven (7) days.
5. Reviewers assess the article’s originality, academic contribution, and practical significance.
6. Authors of rejected papers will be informed of the decision and reasons within five (5) days after final approval by the Editor-in-Chief.
7. Manuscripts requiring revision must be resubmitted according to reviewer feedback within the period specified by the editors.
8. A positive review does not guarantee publication; the editorial board makes the final decision.
9. All review reports and communications are archived by the journal for five (5) years.

Articles published in this journal may be copied and distributed for non-commercial purposes only.
The source, author, journal title, and DOI must be cited. Modified or derivative works may not be redistributed.
