Thai National Interest (TNI) welcomes Academic / Policy-Oriented Articles that offer conceptual analysis, theoretical discussion, or policy-oriented insights. These articles are non-empirical and are not required to include research methodology or original data.

Article Scope

Academic / Policy-Oriented Articles should:

  • Address a clearly defined analytical issue or policy debate
  • Employ a conceptual or analytical framework
  • Develop coherent arguments supported by scholarly or policy-relevant sources
  • Contribute to broader academic or policy discussions

Recommended Structure

  • Title (12–18 words)
  • Abstract (150–200 words)
  • Keywords (4–6)
  • Introduction
  • Analytical / Theoretical Framework
  • Argument Development / Policy Analysis
  • Discussion / Implications
  • Conclusion
  • References (APA 7)

Length

  • 5,0007,000 words
  • Approximately 1216 A4 pages (double-spaced)
  • Inclusive of tables, figures, and references

Editorial Evaluation

Submissions are evaluated based on relevance to journal scope, analytical rigor, coherence of argumentation, conceptual or policy contribution, and compliance with APA 7. Empirical data and research methodology are not mandatory for this article type.
