1. 1. Eligibility for Fee Waiver

Fee waivers may be considered on a case-by-case basis for authors who demonstrate one or more of the following conditions:

  • Authors based in countries affected by armed conflict, humanitarian crises, or large-scale forced displacement
  • Authors facing severe financial or institutional constraints that demonstrably limit their ability to pay the APC
  • Other exceptional circumstances deemed appropriate by the Editorial Board
  1. 2. Principles Governing Fee Waivers
  • Fee waivers are not automatic and are granted at the discretion of the Editorial Board
  • Requests for fee waivers do not influence editorial or peer review decisions
  • All manuscripts are evaluated solely on the basis of academic quality and relevance

  • Requests for a fee waiver must be submitted after initial manuscript submission and before the initiation of peer review
  • Authors may be asked to provide brief supporting information to justify the request
  • Decisions regarding fee waivers are final and not subject to appeal

The fee waiver policy is published in accordance with the transparency requirements of the Thai Journal Citation Index (TCI) and reflects the journal’s commitment to ethical publishing practices.
