Referencing and Formatting Compliance (APA 7)

The Thai Journal of National Interest (TNI) emphasizes strict adherence to referencing, spacing, and punctuation standards in accordance with APA 7th edition.

Recent manuscript reviews have identified common issues, including:

• Missing space after commas in citations (e.g., (Smith et al.,2023))
• Incorrect placement of periods in parenthetical citations
• Improper use of “et al.”
• Inconsistent DOI formatting
• Incorrect italicization of journal titles and volume numbers

Authors are strongly encouraged to review the Guide for Authors  (Extended Version) prior to submission to ensure full compliance.
